The courses are non-residential and students are asked to make their own arrangements. University accommodation is often a relatively inexpensive and convenient way of staying in London during summer school. The Courtauld has recently refurbished Duchy House as new student accommodation.  We expect that this accommodation will be ready for the 2010 summer school season and we will know for sure in early February.

Duchy House is located a few minutes walk from The Courtauld Institute of Art and comprises of 67 newly refurbished study rooms located on the 1st–4th floors of this historic building with a lift from the ground floor entrance lobby to each level.  Two thirds of the study rooms have an en-suite shower/toilet and there is a communal kitchen on each floor for self-catering.
