Mr Tim Knox is currently Director of the Sir John Soane’s Museum in London where he has been since 2005. He studied History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art, and was appointed Assistant Curator at the Royal Institute of British Architects Drawings Collection in 1989, moving in 1995 to the National Trust as its Architectural Historian, becoming Head Curator in 2002.  Mr Knox will succeed Timothy Potts as Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum when he takes up the post in April 2014.
