About the collection
The UBS Art Collection is widely recognized as one of the finest corporate art collections in the world consisting of the individual art collections of all of the firms which have become part of UBS. The core collections consist of those from its two Swiss predecessors – Union Bank of Switzerland (Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft) and Swiss Bank Corporation (Schweizerischer Bankverein) – and that of the American financial services firm PaineWebber.
It is comprised of approximately 40,000 objects of contemporary art from artists from 73 countries and includes paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, and videos dating from the earliest years of Abstract Expressionism to today.
