Applicants may apply direct to The Courtauld using the form below. Complete applications should include:
- An academic transcript
- Two confidential references
- A piece of assessed written work
- A photocopy of the photo page and relevant biodata from your passport
- English proficiency certificate (if applicable)
- Two recent passport photographs

Guidance for Referees
We welcome direct applications from students from all over the world. If you are unsure as to your eligibility, please contact the Academic Registry.
Students who are studying at a college or university in the US may make apply directly to The Courtauld with the application form above, or through Boston University Study Abroad or the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES), who will forward the applications of qualified candidates to the Academic Registry with their assessment and recommendation.
All admissions decisions are made by The Courtauld.
Applications for Autumn 2012 (September to December) or the 2012/13 academic year should be received by the end of March 2012. We aim to reach admissions decisions by the end of May.
Applications for the Spring 2012 (January to March) should be received by the beginning of October 2011. We aim to reach admissions decisions as soon as possible after this time.
