Scholarships and funding
Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Research Preparation Master’s Award
www.ahrc.ac.uk
British and EU students accepted for the MA History of Art
are eligible to apply for the Research Preparation Master’s Scheme (RPM), which provides support for students intending to proceed to doctoral study who are undertaking a Master’s course which will prepare them for doctoral study. Students are expected to gain a Master’s qualification at the end of their AHRC award.
If you are offered and accept a place on the MA, it is essential to act quickly and efficiently, because the deadline for applications is soon after interviews. If you wish to apply for an AHRC award, you can find the application forms here. We will strongly support your application, but there can be no guarantee of success.
Courtauld Scholarships
The Courtauld has several scholarships available and the application form can be found here. Those that wish to be considered should submit their scholarship application by the programme application deadline of 6 January 2012.

(c) you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands (the Islands means the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) for the full three year period before the first day of the first academic year of the course (for example, if your course begins
on 1 October 2012, you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands from 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2012);
