British and EU students accepted onto the MA Curating the Art Museum are eligible to apply for the Professional Preparation Master’s Scheme (PPM).
If you are offered and accept a place on the MA Curating the Art Museum, it is essential to act quickly and efficiently, because the deadline for applications is soon after interviews. If you wish to apply for an AHRC award, you can find the application forms here. We will strongly support your application, but there can be no guarantee of success.
Courtauld Scholarships
The Courtauld has several scholarships available and the application form can be found here. Those that wish to be considered should submit their scholarship application by the programme application deadline of 6 January 2012.
Home vs. Overseas Fees
In order to qualify for ‘home’ fees under this category, you must meet all of the following criteria:
(a) you must be settled in the UK on the first day of the first academic year of the course;
(b) you must be ordinarily resident in the UK on the first day of the first academic year of the course;
(c) you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands (the Islands means the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) for the full three year period before the first day of the first academic year of the course (for example, if your course begins
on 1 October 2012, you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands from 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2012);
(d) the main purpose for your residence in the UK and Islands must not have been to receive full-time education during any part of that three-year period.
