The student must have been offered a place on the Postgraduate Diploma in the Conservation of Easel Paintings to qualify. The value of the Scholarship in the 2012/13 academic year was £2,500. It is typically awarded to a student from the UK, Australia or New Zealand. The award is reviewed each year.
